Amy and Bryan were married on Saturday August 2, 2008 at the St. Maximiliam Kolbe Church in Liberty Township, OH. The receptions was held Cincinnati Marriott North in West Chester. Maxim Photo Studio photographed Amy and Christopher’s engagement in Westerville OH. We started the shoot in downtown Westerville, a quiet and quaint suburb of Columbus and then drove to the incomparable Inniswood Metro Park. The park had everything, beautiful gardens, sloping landscapes, scenic woodlands and numerous waterways throughout the park. We took so many great images that it was hard ti select the best of the best below. Their wedding is on December 14th and we are looking forward to photographing them. Click the image below for some of the choice selections.
I was privileged, as a member of the press, to get a 20 minute ride on the Huey Helicopter at the Dayton Airshow. The rides were provided by “The Sky Soldiers“, a demonstration, all volunteer team composed of former military aviators some of whom flew the original Hueys in Vietnam. Today’s Hueys were fully refurbished with brand new engines, all of the bullet holes were patched up and seats added for comfort. The original Vietnam versions were “bare bones” with the military personnel having to hold on for dear lives by little hooks on the floor and no seats or seatbelts. The sound of the rotating blades spinning at 324 revolutions per minute stil made that familiar sound of the Vietnam war footage sound. Here is a video of a Huey ride along with other helicopter demonstrations with one of the Sky Solders’ pilots.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing Ellen and Garrett’s wedding in Mt. Adams. Check out the pics and the slideshow by clicking on the image below.
On Saturday, we photographed the wedding of Robin and Andrew on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the College of Mt. Saint Joseph’s Mater Dei Chapel in Cincinnati. After the wedding, the couple departed to Mariner Inn West reception hall in a custom hot rod. I managed to stick my camera out the window long enough to not cause any accidents and to capture the happiness of the moment. Check the pics by clicking on the HDR image of Robin and Andrew below.
Stacy & Chris were wed in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Elkhorn Wisconsin. The weather cooperated long enough to take some formal images, but then tornado warning sirens pierced the glorious June afternoon day and skies opened up with torrential downpours. Nonetheless, the bridal party and guests had a great time celebrating the nuptial. Click on the image of Stacey and Chris in front of the fountain at Lake Geneva for a slideshow of the wedding images.
Chas and Craig chose Ault Park for their engagement session. Mother Nature finally cooperated with us after more than a month of postponements. When we arrived, the park was closed for traffic because of bicycle race. We used this race in one of the images as you’ll see by clicking the couples picture below. We shall be photographing Chas and Craig’s wedding on October 25, 2008 in Cincinnati.
